Seventy years distance
Every servant of Allah who observes fast for a day in the way of Allah, Allah would remove, because of this day, his face farther from the Fire (of Hell) to the extent of seventy years’ distance.
Fasting During journey
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “It is not righteousness that you fast on a journey.”
Reciting Surah kahf on Friday
If anyone recites sūra al-Kahf on Friday, the light will shine brightly for him till the next Friday.
Backbiting and obscene speech while fasting
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: There are people who fast and get nothing from their fast except hunger, and there are those who pray and get nothing from their prayer but a sleepless night.
The one who gives food
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.
Ar-Raiyan gate in Paradise
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, There is a gate in Paradise called Ar-Raiyan, and those who observe fasts will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection and none except them will enter through it.
Shield to protect Hell Fire
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, Fasting is a shield (or a screen or a shelter) (which a servant protects himself from the Fire).
Eat forgetfully while fasting
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ), peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever eats or drinks forgetfully while he is fasting, let him complete his fast for Allah has fed him and given him drink.
I am fasting
The Prophet(ﷺ) said: When one of you wakes up in the morning for fasting, then he should not use obscene language or behave foolishly. If anyone abuses him or fights with him, he should say twice: Indeed, I am fasting.
Evil deeds while fasting
Whoever does not leave evil words and deeds while fasting, Allah does not need him to leave food and drink.
