Missing Jumu’ah
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: People must cease to neglect the Friday prayer or Allah will seal their hearts and then they will be among the negligent.
Righteous servants
“My Lord! Inspire me to ˹always˺ be thankful for Your favor’s which You have blessed me and my parents with, and to do good deeds that please you. Admit me, by Your mercy, into ˹the company of˺ Your righteous servants.”
Friday Virtues
Abdullah bin Amr narrated that: The Messenger of Allah said:
Friday Fajr prayer
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to recite the following in the Fajr prayer of Friday,
The purpose of sacrifice is piety
“It is neither their meat nor their blood that reaches Allâh, but it is piety from you that reaches Him”
Celebrate a friday
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
Oblligatory prayers
“What has caused you to enter Hell?”
The time for the Jumu’ah (prayer)
The time for the Jumu’ah (prayer) is due when the sun declines (i.e. just after mid-day)
Invocation
“Invoke Me, [i.e. believe in My Oneness (Islâmic Monotheism) and ask Me for anything] I will respond to your (invocation)
Committing sins
Nay! Man (denies Resurrection and Reckoning. So he) desires to continue committing sins.
