Fasting on a Friday
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade fasting on a Friday unless it (is joined to) the day before or the day after.”
Reciting Surah al-Kahf on Friday
Abū Sa’id reported the Prophet ﷺ as saying, “If anyone recites sūrah al-Kahf (Qur’ān, 18) on Friday, light will shine brightly for him till the next Friday.”
Reciting (Tahmid Tahlil and Takbir)

the Prophet ﷺ said: “The maternal aunt holds the same status as the mother.”
