Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers.
Righteous Servants
My Lord! Inspire me to ˹always˺ be thankful for Your favors which You have blessed me and my parents with, and to do good deeds that please You. Admit me, by Your mercy, into ˹the company of˺ Your righteous servants.
Islam as Apostle
I am pleased with Allah as Lord, with Islam as religion, and with Muhammad (ﷺ) as Apostle
Seventy years distance
Every servant of Allah who observes fast for a day in the way of Allah, Allah would remove, because of this day, his face farther from the Fire (of Hell) to the extent of seventy years’ distance.
Fasting During journey
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “It is not righteousness that you fast on a journey.”
Reciting Surah kahf on Friday
If anyone recites sūra al-Kahf on Friday, the light will shine brightly for him till the next Friday.
Backbiting and obscene speech while fasting
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: There are people who fast and get nothing from their fast except hunger, and there are those who pray and get nothing from their prayer but a sleepless night.
The one who gives food
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.
Ar-Raiyan gate in Paradise
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, There is a gate in Paradise called Ar-Raiyan, and those who observe fasts will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection and none except them will enter through it.
