Beginning of Ramadan
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When the month of Ramadan begins, the gates of heaven are opened, the gates of Hellfire are closed, and the devils are chained.
The Prophet’s Recitation of Quran in Ramadan
The Prophet ﷺ would review the Quran once every year in Ramadan and he reviewed it twice in the year he passed away.
Prophet’s Generosity during Ramadan
Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) was the most generous of all the people, and he used to reach the peak in generosity in the month of Ramadan. Even more generous than the strong uncontrollable wind (in readiness and haste to do charitable deeds)
Prayer Before the Friday prayer
Nafi’ said: Ibn Umar used to lengthen his prayer before the Friday prayer and would offer two rak’ahs after it in his house. He used to say that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would do that.
Beginning of Ramadan
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
Man of paradise
1.A Bedouin came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and asked for a deed that would lead him to Paradise….
Forgiveness
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Five prayers and from one Friday prayer to (the next) Friday prayer is an expiation (of the sins committed in between their intervals) if major sins are not committed
Ramadan’s Special Blessings
The Prophet said : When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained.

The Prophet said : Umrah during Ramadan is equivalent to Hajj
Prohibition of fasting one or two days before Ramadan
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: Do not fast one day or two days just before Ramadan, except in the case of a man who has been in the habit of observing the particular fast, for he may fast on that day.
